All newly elected officials will be pre-registered for COOP. Newly elected officials (first time elected on August 2, 2018) do not need to register. However, please use the link below to RSVP to the dinner.

Hi Registers,
Unfortuantely, due to a lack of participation, the group trip to Lookout Mountain has been cancelled.
If you are interested in sightseeing with fellow Registers, please meet in the Lobby of the Hotel at 11:00 am
on Wednesday May 15th. Points of interest are: Incline Railway, Ruby Falls and Rock City.
You must provide your own transportation from the Hotel to each venue.
They are not connected easily and must be driven to separately. Sorry for the unfortunate news, Claudia Peeler

Greetings All! I hope everyone is planning to come to Nashville for County Government Day. We will meet on March 12 at 1:00 pm in Suite 7 at the Sheraton. I have asked Kristy Brown to come about 1:30, so bring any questions or concerns with you. I see there are several bills pending that affect our office. I look forward to discussing these and hearing other ideas and opinions.
You can begin making your reservations for the Spring Meeting in Chattanooga. We will be staying at the Chattanooga Marriott, their number is 423-756-0002. Registration will begin Wednesday May 15th around 9:00 am. Wednesday there will be a game of golf and probably shopping or sightseeing. Wednesday night we will be eating at the Aquarium, so please make your plans to come. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to give me a call, 901-476-0204 or email me at tcrod84@gmail.com.

Steve Smith, Haywood county Register of deeds father passed away, Friday, August 24, 2012. Albert "Shorty" Franklin Smith Jr. worked for Sunshine Cleaners, owned Smith's Cleaners and served as Register of Deeds for 20 years. He spent his life in public service; boy scout leader,
baseball coach, baseball umpire, a member of the Jaycee's, Moose Lodge and the Brownsville Country Club. He enjoyed life and loved his family. He never met a stranger. He was a wonderful daddy and Pops.
Also, our other friend Patty Sisk, from Hickman County lost her father last week. Please keep both families in your prayers.
