I also wanted to thank all of the Registers who have had their county commission pass the Resolution which urges the General Assembly to support the restoration of Registers' Commission. To those Registers wh have the Resolution on the County Commission January agenda, once the resolution is adopted, please do the following: 1. Ask the County Clerk for a copy of the Resolution and mail a copy to your State Represenatives & State Senator. 2. Ask the County Clerk for a certified copy and mail it to Rodney Archer, Executive Director, County Officials Association of Tennessee 226 Capitol Blvd., Suite 200 Nashvile, TN 37219. Unfortuantely, due to a lack of participation, the group trip to Lookout Mountain has been cancelled. If you are interested in sightseeing with fellow Registers, please meet in the Lobby of the Hotel at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 15th. Points of interest are: Incline Railway, Ruby Falls and Rock City. You must provide your own transportation from the Hotel to each venue. They are not connected easily and must be driven to separately. Sorry for the unfortunate news,

In my shock of receiving the Outstanding Register of Deeds award, I failed to extend a proper thank you to Randy and the Registers Association, and for that I am truly sorry.
I am so blessed to be surrounded by such a special group of friends and to be recognized is quite an unexpected honor. Being a part of such a great organization has blessed me in so many ways. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for such an award.
I know others were more deserving than myself, nonetheless, I thank you for this recognition. The Registers Association is one I've come to depend on for leadership and guidance and I appreciate the opportunity to work with everyone this past year. Again, thank you so much.
