Dear COAT Member,
We are so happy to let everyone know that, as of the COAT Board Meeting earlier this month, we have decided to move forward with our 52nd Annual COAT Convention at The Westin in Chattanooga on November 16-18, 2020! It has been a difficult year, so we are thrilled to look to the future!!
One major change this year is that we will be making your hotel reservations for you. The registration form (linked below) will ask about your hotel needs and Lori will be sending a list of room requests to the hotel every Tuesday. As soon as she gets confirmation numbers back from the hotel, she will forward them to you. Then, once Lori sends you your confirmation numbers, you can call the hotel directly and give your credit card information to secure the room. The room rate will be $127.00 per room/per night, plus taxes and/or fees.
The registration fee will remain the same - $235.00 per person.
While we haven’t finalized an agenda yet, we can tell you that we will begin on Monday, 11/16 at approximately 9:00am and will wrap up classes around 4:30pm. The President's Reception will be that evening. Tuesday, 11/17 - the hours will remain pretty much the same, 9:00 - 4:30. Our Award's Banquet will be Tuesday evening. We should be finished up by lunch or so on Wednesday, unless you want to stay over for the additional CTAS class. As in years past, we will offer between 10-12 hours of COCTP if you attend every event at the convention.
We will provide the following meals:
Breakfast, Lunch, Heavy Hors d'ouevres on 11/16 Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on 11/17 Breakfast, Lunch (if you stay for the class) on 11/18
Since we weren’t sure we were having the convention this year, we have held off on the major planning. We want to give you the best possible descriptions of the classes and events, so we will get the agenda out as soon as we have it available.
